Bookworms get to meet your fave Wattpad authors, YouTube stars-turned-writers!

ABS-CBN Books joins the highly anticipated Manila International Book Fair 2019 where it will host meet-and-greet sessions with Kapamilya authors and launch 10 new reads, including two books from international fiction authors, who will be bringing their well-loved stories to the Philippines.

Priscilla Wu, a Chinese writer based in L.A., will be releasing "True Beauty," a dystopian romance fiction that will bring two extremely different lives together in a tale of love, friendship, and salvation. Inspired by the K-pop group EXO, the story from the Asianfanfics author already has one million authentic reads.

Mexican writer Gaby Gabezut will launch "Prince with Benefits," a contemporary fairy tale filled with the delights and dramas of falling in love with a real life Prince Charming. Her story already has over 100 million reads, making her a Wattpad Star with the highest-ranking royalty story in said online community.

ABS-CBN Books is also proud to announce that it is the exclusive local publisher of "Winning For Life," a motivational book by internationally acclaimed motivational speaker and bestselling author, Denis Waitley, which will be available at MIBF.

The publishing arm of ABS-CBN continues offering self-help books with the newly published “Pera Ni Mister, Pera ni Misis,” a financial guide for couples written by bestselling author Chinkee Tan and wife, author Nove-Ann. Another self-help guide, “Never Be Number 2” by YouTube star Jelai Andres, will also be featured, with tips on surviving broken marriage and dealing with cheaters.

Also included in this year’s book fest are “La Na Bye,” a ‘hugot’ poetry book by actress Kakai Bautista, and “PBB Otso Collector’s Edition,” a print collectible on the recent hit reality show “PBB Otso” and its housemates.

Fiction lovers, on the other hand, will like the freshly published romance reads, “Bargain with the Rebel Heartbreaker” by Vixenne Anne, “Stop In The Name of Love. Amen” by AB Castueras, and "Panagutan Mo 'Ko" by JC Quin.

Aside from these new titles, booklovers will get to see their favorite authors at the ABS-CBN booth, including inspirational poet Jerico Silvers, YouTubers Lloyd Cadena, Bakla Ng Taon (BNT), and Jelai Andres.

There will be a chance to meet Kapamilya authors Dimples Romana, Joena San Diego, Soyen, and Chef Tatung Sarthou.

The most followed Wattpad authors—Binibining Mia, Alesana Marie, JC Quin, Charmaine Lasar, Ethyl Dela Pena, Patyeah, Arlo Icabandi, Ma. Theresa Anna Cruzate, Vixenne Anne, and AB Castueras—will also be present for various meet-and-greet sessions.

The longest-running book fair in the country, MIBF has become an annual gathering of booklovers to celebrate the joys of reading and promote literacy. It is now on its 40th year, filled with thrilling book signings, launchings, and workshops, and many more.
