Broadcast journalist RG Cruz nabs award for fearless reporting

ABS-CBN was honored with the Champion in Media, Community Connection, and Global Filipino Service award while ABS-CBN broadcast journalist RG Cruz bagged the Excellence in Political Correspondence trophy at the Icons of Change Awards 2025 for their outstanding contributions and commitment to making a significant impact in the industry.

The global storytelling company was recognized for its contributions to United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, which is about promoting peaceful and inclusive societies, providing access to justice for all, and building effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions at all levels.
