Catriona Gray shoots for the Philippines' fourth Miss Universe crown this Monday.
Filipinos can watch the culmination of Catriona Gray’s quest for the Philippine’s fourth Miss Universe title as ABS-CBN airs the coronation ceremony live from Muang Thong Thani, Thailand, on Monday (December 17) at 8 am and via free livestreaming on the ABS-CBN Live channel on ABS-CBN’s streaming service iWant.
The “Miss Universe” pageant will also be replayed on ABS-CBN’s Sunday’s Best after “Gandang Gabi Vice” on December 23. The free livestreaming on iWant, meanwhile, may be accessed via web browser on
iwant.ph and the iWant app on iOS and Android.
Aside from ABS-CBN’s free-to-air TV channel, the pageant can also be seen on SKYcable via the Metro Channel on December 24 at 3 PM and on digital television via ABS-CBN TVplus.
Gray, who will compete with 93 women from around the world, is one of the pageant’s most popular candidates online, with many experts saying the Filipino-Australian lass is poised to capture the crown. She recently made headlines for her performance during the swimsuit competition at the preliminaries.
Following the preliminaries, the top 20 will be determined prior to the coronation night. The pageant will keep the regional selection format with five women from four groups of countries—Europe, North America, South America, and Asia and Africa—will each have five representatives.
The ceremony will be hosted by comedian Steve Harvey and supermodel Ashley Graham, with TV personality Carson Kressley and runway coach Lu Sierra providing the commentary throughout the event and R&B superstar Ne-Yo performing a special number.
