Reveals sobbing to his own scene…
Ultimate heartthrob Piolo Pascual caps off a fulfilling yet emotional journey as ABS-CBN’s family drama “Pamilya Sagrado,” which also stars Grae Fernandez and Kyle Echarri, is down to its last two weeks.
Piolo, who previously said that his role as President Rafael was one of the darkest characters he’s ever portrayed, shared how meaningful the project is to him and that viewers should expect an explosive finale.
“Nakaka-touch, nakakaiyak [ang episodes]. I was watching the episode last night and I was sobbing sa sarili kong eksena. Ganun siya kabigat at intense. Ang hirap ng journey kaya kailangan maganda ‘yung ending,” he shared during the finale mediacon yesterday (November 5).
Although playing a complex character was challenging, Piolo also shared how he took the risk that eventually helped him improve in his craft.
“It’s given me a different perspective on how to portray roles. I enjoy the process of being able to give life to a character and be somebody else. I played a role that I never thought I’d be able to play this early in my career,” he added.
In the final two weeks of “Pamilya Sagrado,” an all-out war will break loose when Rafael’s (Piolo) last ditch effort to save his two scorned sons turns violent as an enraged Moises (Kyle) attacks Justin (Grae) and demands for justice for his loved ones.
Conflict will also intensify at the height of Justin and Felicia’s (Alyanna Angeles) wedding where someone’s life may be sacrificed when Jaime (Tirso Cruz III) goes berserk at his fiancée, Divine (Aiko Melendez), who has been betraying him all this time in order to help Rafael’s quest for justice.
