Prepare for the ultimate cry fest with never-before-seen scenes for the TV airing of “Saving Grace: The Untold Story,” starring Julia Montes, Zia Grace, and Sharon Cuneta. The extended version premieres on March 3 (Monday) at 9:30 PM on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and TV5.
After being hailed as the number one show on Prime Video, the hit series, which is ABS-CBN’s Philippine adaptation of the Japanese drama “Mother” from Nippon TV, will tear audience’s hearts to the core as it features new emotional confrontations and gripping scenes.
When “Saving Grace” premiered online, the show instantly captivated viewers in which it earned praise for the cast’s highly dramatic portrayals accompanied by a heart-wrenching storyline about the different types of sacrifices of mothers.
Apart from the superb performances of its seasoned actors, one of the show’s lead cast members, Zia Grace, also stood out among viewers and was dubbed as the Philippines’ next big child star for her exceptional portrayal of an abused child longing for a mother’s unconditional love.
“Saving Grace: The Untold Story" delves into the lives of four different mothers, played by Jennica Garcia, Janice De Belen, Julia, and Sharon, and the emotional struggles they encounter when secrets from their past unravel. Viewers will also get to know more about the compelling journey of Anna (Julia), a teacher who kidnaps her student named Grace (Zia) when she learns about the latter’s sufferings from her abusive mother.
Directed by FM Reyes and Dolly Dulu and produced by Dreamscape Entertainment, the series also stars Sam Milby, Christian Bables, Elisse Joson, and Eric Fructuoso. “Saving Grace: The Untold Story” also marks the primetime TV comeback of Julia, Sharon, and Sam.
