The “Liwanag Sa Dilim” star is ready to make waves in the recording industry
Award-winning theater actor Vien King brings not just his talent but also his heart and authenticity in his debut single “Isa Pang Habang Panahon.”
The Gawad Buhay and LEAF awardee has previously starred in the musical “Passion” and played the role of Ibarra, opposite Alexa Ilacad’s Maria Clara in “Liwanag Sa Dilim.” The former finalist of It’s Showtime’s “BidaMan” is also part of the upcoming musical “Side Show.”
Vien’s “Isa Pang Habang Panahon” is a heartfelt ballad that explores themes of enduring love, second chances, and emotional resilience composed by Kiko Salazar and released under Star Music.
“The first time I heard the song, it felt like it was written for me,” Vien shared. “It’s about love that lasts—or love that wants to last. It’s something many of us carry quietly in our hearts. I wanted to give that feeling a voice.”
The new recording artist is excited to explore a new chapter in his career and bring comfort and hope through his own music.
He said, “I’m excited to explore this new chapter. Theater will always be home, but music allows me to share a more personal side of who I am. I hope people find comfort, hope, or even healing in the songs I sing.”
Don’t miss the chance to experience the heartfelt debut of one of theater’s finest voices stepping into the world of OPM.
