ABS-CBN, patuloy ang pangunguna sa nationwide TV ratings

ABS-CBN keeps  lead in TV ratings nationwide

Filipinos households are still turning to ABS-CBN for insightful news and heartfelt TV programs as the network continued to hold on to its average audience share of 45% in August, or 14 points higher than GMA’s 31%, according to data from Kantar Media.

Patuloy ang pagtutok ng mga kabahayan nationwide sa ABS-CBN noong Agosto sa paghahatid nito ng makabuluhang mga balita at nakakaantig na mga programa sa TV, kaya naman nakapagtala ang network ng 45% na average audience share, o 14 puntos na lamang sa 31% ng GMA, ayon sa Kantar Media.

Tinututukan pa rin ng buong sambayanan ang “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” (35.8%) na hawak pa rin ang titulo bilang pinakapinapanood na show nationwide sa apat na taon nito sa telebisyon. Tulad ng ‘Probinsyano,’ paboritong weekend show naman ng viewers ang nagbalik-telebisyon na “The Voice Kids” (35.5%).

Marami rin ang hindi bumibitaw sa aksyon at dramang hatid ng “The General’s Daughter” (30.9%) gabi-gabi, habang pinatunayan ng weekend shows na “Hiwaga ng Kambat” (30.6%) at “Maalaala Mo Kaya” (30.2%) na malapit sa puso ng mga Pinoy ang mga programang may kapupulutan ng aral.

Kinumpleto naman ng “TV Patrol” (28.1%), “Home Sweetie Home: Extra Sweet” (24.2%), “Kadenang Ginto” (22.7%), at “The Killer Bride” (22.5%), na pumasok agad sa top 10 ang listahan ng pinakapinapanood na TV shows nationwide.

Samantala, ABS-CBN din ang nanguna sa iba’t-ibang time blocks. Sa primetime (6:00 PM-12:00 MN), nagtala ang Kapamilya network ng 48% share, laban sa 31% ng GMA. Sa afternoon block (3:00 PM-6:00 PM), 47% ang nasungkit ng ABS-CBN, kumpara sa 33% ng GMA, habang naka-46% ang ABS-CBN sa noontime block (12:00 NN-3:00 PM), kontra sa 32% ng GMA. 39% naman ang nakuha ng Kapamilya network sa morning block (6:00 AM-12:00 NN), kumpara sa 29% ng GMA.

Humataw rin ang Kapamilya network sa Metro Manila, kung saan nakakuha ito ng 41% share, o 16 puntos na lamang sa 25% ng GMA. 36% naman ang average audience share ng ABS-CBN sa Mega Manila, habang 31% ang nakuha ng GMA. 

Pagdating naman sa Total Luzon, panalo ang ABS-CBN na may 41%, laban sa 34% ng GMA. Namayagpag din ito sa Total Visayas, kung saan nakapagtala ito ng 55%, kumpara sa 24% ng GMA, pati na sa Total Mindanao kung saan may 52% itong average audience share, kumpara sa 28% ng GMA.

Kinakatawan ng Kantar Media ang 100% ng mga manonood ng telebisyon sa buong bansa sa paggamit nito ng nationwide panel size na 2,610 na urban at rural homes.
