Kathryn, Kim, Vice Ganda, receive top honors
ABS-CBN nabbed 14 major honors for its outstanding programs and personalities at LionhearTV’s 9th RAWR Awards.
ABS-CBN Films’ “A Very Good Girl” was hailed Movie of the Year, while its lead star, box-office queen Kathryn Bernardo, received the award for Favorite Bida.
The mystery drama “Dirty Linen” won the Bet na Bet na Teleserye honor, while iWant’s original mystery-thriller series “Fractured” was named Digital Series of the Year.
Kim Chiu’s stellar performance as Juliana Lualhati in “Linlang” earned her the Actress of the Year award. At the same time, McCoy de Leon’s compelling portrayal of David Dimaguiba in the primetime series “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” won him the Favorite Kontrabida title.
Vice Ganda, meanwhile, took home the Favorite TV Host for “Everybody Sing” and the LGBTQIA+ Influencer of the Year honors.
Francine Diaz won Vlogger of the Year (Long Form), while Esnyr Ranollo snagged the Vlogger of the Year (Short Form) award.
Alexa Ilacad and KD Estrada won the Love Team of the Year award, while their supporters, KDLex Sweethearts, also won Fan Club of the Year.
Jennica Garcia, meanwhile, was named Beshie ng Taon.
Veteran broadcast journalist Bernadette Sembrano was named Female News Personality of the Year for “TV Patrol.”
LionhearTV is one of the country’s leading entertainment sites. Its RAWR Awards, which was established in 2015, recognizes excellence in the entertainment industry. The winners are selected based on the combined votes of fans, members of the press, and PR personalities.
