Coco hunts down Baron, teams up with Maris
Tanggol (Coco Martin) goes all-out and all-in with a string of new action-packed missions in the brand new chapter of the hit ABS-CBN series “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.”
The series unveiled yesterday (October 6) an exhilarating trailer, as well as a new poster and theme song, as Tanggol begins his brave crusade for justice despite being a high-profile fugitive after his enemies blatantly tarnished his reputation.
In order to clear his name and save his loved ones, Tanggol will show no mercy as he targets his enemies one-by-one. The special trailer featured an explosive do-or-die encounter between Tanggol and Rockyboy (Baron Geisler), as well as Tanggol’s pursuit of Divina (Rosanna Rocess), his former business partner who betrayed him.
Despite the threat to his life, it seems that Tanggol will find a new and unexpected ally in rookie police officer Ponggay (Maris Racal). After initially clashing in their first few encounters, Tanggol and Ponggay will find themselves teaming up against a common enemy in Rockyboy.
The sneak-peek of Tanggol and Ponggay’s powerful tandem earned praise from viewers where the scene featured Ponggay going to battle wearing only sexy lingerie as Tanggol heroically pulled up on a motorcycle as they were being gunned down.
More shocking plot twists will also unravel in the coming episodes when Rigor (John Estrada) clashes with his trusted backers Roberto (Albert Martinez) and Miguelito (Jake Cuenca). Danger also looms for Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) when Rigor unleashes his wrath and locks her up in his house.
“FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” recently welcomed new cast members and it continues to thrill audiences every night as it consistently draws over half a million peak concurrent viewers on Kapamilya Online Live.
