The socially-relevant program culminates with ‘redemption of the son’
Action-drama royalty Gerald Anderson is out for justice in a no-holds-barred fight to crush the scamming syndicate once and for all as ABS-CBN’s crime-action mystery drama and iWant’s most watched series “Sins of the Father” blazes toward its epic finale dubbed ‘Redemption of the Son.’
The gutsy series opened the world of scamming through the eyes of Samuel (Gerald) who had to face the crime involving his father that affected his whole family. In five months, it has bravely exposed fraudulent schemes involving crypto trading, illegal networking, human trafficking, and more.
“Sinamahan natin si Samuel sa kanyang paglalakbay sa bawit sakit, sa bawat problema, at sa bawat laban. Kung tama pa ba ang mga hakbang na pinipili niya. Kahit na ilang beses siyang nadapa, hindi tayo bumitaw sa kanya,” Gerald said with gratitude.
The Kapamilya actor also emphasized how the series resonates deeply as it portrays the genuine hardships that many Filipinos go through.
“Ang laban ni Samuel para sa isang ligtas na pamilya, para sa isang maayos na lipunan, para sa isang bansang hindi magpapaloko dahil marunong kumikilala ng pananamantala. Laban natin lahat ‘to sa kanya-kanyang paraan, sa kanya-kanyang buhay,” he added.
As the series heads to its epic conclusion, Samuel and Agnes (Jessy Mendiola) succeed in turning the Bakunawa syndicate against itself, igniting internal chaos that cripples its operations. However, when Gen. Diego Ramirez (Tirso Cruz III) discovers Samuel’s betrayal, he vows to exact ruthless revenge.
Meanwhile, Leah (Shaina Magdayao) and Johnny (RK Bagatsing) uncover deeper truths about their family’s secret connection to the scamming network, as Arissa (Francine Diaz) grows increasingly anxious over Enzo (Seth Fedelin), who remains held captive inside the syndicate’s warehouse.
Will Samuel’s pursuit of justice lead to victory or his ultimate downfall?
