Kuantie Melai Cantiveros spearheads the fun discussions about all the hottest showbiz news that viewers want to know about their favorite celebrities in the hit Bisaya talk show “Kuan on One” that features Gerald Anderson, Sofia Andres and Daniel Miranda, Arthur Nery, Esnyr Ranollo, Maris Racal, and more Bisdak celebrity guests for its third season.
Since its premiere on the ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube channel and on iWant, “Kuan on One” has won the hearts of Kuanizens with its all-Bisaya elements that features laid-back, relatable and engaging conversations wherein the show has already generated a total of over 29 million online views and counting across episodes from season one up until current episodes of season three.

In the first episode of season three, Kuantie Melai chatted with “Sins of the Father” star Gerald Anderson where he answered controversial and pressing issues about his personal life such as his future with girlfriend Julia Barretto.
“Noon kasi natatakot ako na baka maapektuhan ang career at ang oras para sa sarili ko. Ang pinaplano ko ngayon ay maayos na. Pero wala na akong takot ngayon. Malaking factor ang aking kasintahan ngayon kasi mabuti siyang tao,” he admitted when asked about his plans to settle down.
Additionally, Gerald also talked about his teleserye comeback, his love team experience, and how his mother instilled Bisaya values in him that have now helped him become a better person.
Remember when social media was abuzz a few months ago after netizens noticed that lovebirds Sofia and Daniel weren’t following each other anymore on Instagram? Kuanizens got first dibs to the ‘chika’ as Sofia addressed the past issue and said, “Kapag tumataas ang temper ko, I block him and unfollow. In that way, I have to mature enough na when it’s our problem, it doesn’t have to affect social media.”
Sofia, who eventually learned how to speak in Bisaya out of love for Daniel who hails from Cebu, also had Kuanizens saying ‘sana all!’ as she and Daniel talked about how they’ve matured as a couple and their fulfilling experience as parents to Zoe.
“Pinaka-importante is family and ‘yung upbringing ni Zoe. I have to be the man of the family kaya every miscommunication, every argument namin ay aayusin ko para sa kanila,” added Daniel.
OPM chart-topper Arthur Nery opened up to Kuantie Melai about some of his most personal life experiences that have eventually become the inspiration behind some of his viral hits, including the ‘hugot’ song “Pagsamo.”
“Sinulat ko ang ‘Pagsamo’ out of frustration sa lahat ng nangyayari sa buhay ko. Parte naman doon ang love life. Pero mostly ang hugot ko doon ay galing sa ibang karanasan ko,” said the singer-songwriter.
He also recalled his parents’ impact on his music career, how he incorporates his being Bisdak in his music, and how Filipino comedian Wacky Kiray was instrumental in his becoming a performer in Manila.
Before Esnyr joined “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” where he was crowned the third big placer duo, the social media star joined forces with Kuantie Melai for an episode full of laughs and good vibes. It’s also no surprise that Esnyr’s favorite thing about being Bisdak is their fun humor!
Apart from spilling all the fun facts about his viral social media content and his coming out story, Esnyr also talked about his acting debut for “Love is Color Blind” starring DonBelle, where Donny Pangilinan felt bad about his circumstances at that time and offered to book him his own hotel room for the remainder of the movie shoot.
“Malakas akong mag-manifest. Lahat ng pinapangarap ko ay sinisikapan ko talaga para maabot sila,” Esnyr said about how he was able to overcome challenges during his early days as a TikTok sensation-turned artist.
“Incognito” star Maris took a break from all her action-packed scenes to have a fun chat about her latest life updates such as how she studied different languages for her famous character Gab Rivera and how she balanced training for gymnastics for her role in “Sunshine” while she was also shooting for “Can’t Buy Me Love.”
Maris also revealed the status of her heart and how her being a proudly ‘palaban Bisdak’ helped her overcome some of the most challenging times in her life.
“Kailangan mong maging matapang. Kasi hindi ka iba-baby ng mga tao. Dapat alam mo paano dalhin ang sarili mo, i-handle ang emotions mo. Hindi ‘yung palaban na warfreak. Palaban na anumang challenge ang dumating ay kakayanin mo,” she said.
