Anne’s blockbuster films are also taking over this month

Cinema One brings the rush of kilig with four romcom films featuring Joshua Garcia, Julia Barretto, Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Maymay Entrata, Edward Barber, Loisa Andalio, Ronnie Alonte, and Donny Pangilinan every Sunday this August.
Relive the romantic spark of these former and current Kapamilya loveteams on Cinema One’s Romance Central airing every Sunday, 5pm.
- “Vince & Kath & James,” airing on Aug. 10, stars Julia Barretto, Joshua Garcia, and Ronnie Alonte in a romantic-comedy film that shows how love can bloom even in text messages. Academic achiever Vince (Joshua) helps his best friend and varsity player James (Ronnie) to get close to his crush Kath (Julia) by making her fall for him through texting.
- “She’s Dating the Gangster,” featuring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, delivers a coming-of-age romance that will surely melt the hearts of viewers this August 17. When his father’s plane crashed, Kenneth (Daniel) encounters Kelay (Kathryn), whose mom has a connection with Kenneth’s dad. The pair goes to Bicol to discover the truth about their parents.
- “Loving in Tandem” shows the hopeless romantic Shine (Maymay) who wishes to meet her one true love. Shine unexpectedly meets Luke (Edward), a rebellious Fil-Am who was sent to the Philippines by his father from the United States. Find out if Shine and Luke will work through their differences and if they find their one true love this August 24.
- In “James & Pat & Dave,” which airs on August 31, James (Ronnie) finds himself in trouble after his mother sends him to a resort to work there as a staff. He is trained by the hostel manager Pat (Loisa), who is desperately hiding from his ex Dave (Donny).
Aside from these romcom films, Anne Curtis will also lead Blockbuster Sundays at 7pm, featuring some of her most memorable films. Catch the “It’s Okay Not To Be Okay” star in “When Love Begins” on August 10, “Babe I Love You” on August 17, “No Other Woman” on August 24, and “Buybust” on August 31.
