New music offering after her Philpop Himig Handog win
Rising Kapamilya artist FANA explores the highs and lows of situationships in her new single under Star Music called “Meron Pero Wala.”
After giving her beautiful rendition to Philpop Himig Handog’s winning song “Wag Paglaruan” by Tiara Shaye, FANA this time brings her own R&B and soul flavor to “Meron Pero Wala,” describing the emotion and confusion of being in-between a relationship, amid the chemistry and connection with someone special.
The song features budding Filipino-Jordanian rapper ACE$, or Ismael Alshdefat in real life, who also co-wrote it with Kiko “KIKX” Salazar and ABS-CBN Music creatives, content, and operations head Jonathan Manalo. KIKX also arranged and produced the song.
An alumna of “The Voice Teens Philippines” season 1 under her coach, Sarah Geronimo’s team, and a finalist of “Idol Philippines” season 1, FANA is slowly making a name in the industry with her unique, golden voice. She previously gave life to songs “Love Story Ko,” “Tawa-Tawa,” and “Out.”
ACE$ brought sharp rhymes and vivid storytelling in FANA’s latest music. The budding hip-hop artist previously served as co-writer of Sam Concepcion’s hit “Diwata” and a collaborator on Zsa Zsa Padilla’s “Pag Tinadhana Remix.”
