It’s Showtime launches tenth season of “Tawag Ng Tanghalan”
“It’s Showtime” has officially launched the tenth season of its iconic singing competition “Tawag ng Tanghalan” (TNT) with The Voice USA season 26 champion Sofronio Vasquez as the newest hurado.
Sofronio joins head judge Louie Ocampo and TNT season 4 grand champion JM Yosures, bringing international experience and fresh perspective to the country’s longest-running noontime singing contest revival.
The milestone season fires up a nationwide search across 18 regions, as contenders from each area face off weekly. Regional winners will advance to the finals, where 18 representatives will compete for the Season 10 Grand Champion title.
On the first day of competition, 19-year-old Sidro Quilicol emerged victorious against Vergel De Guzman, earning the highest score of 91.3%.
