Star Cinema’s 33rd anniversary offering, “Tayo Sa Wakas,” has recorded P110 million in box office sales as of June 19, making the romance drama film one of the highest-grossing Filipino movies this year.

It has also become the biggest film of Belle Mariano and Donny Pangilinan, who previously starred in the movies “Love Is Color Blind” and “An Inconvenient Love.”

“Tayo Sa Wakas” is now in its fourth week in cinemas nationwide. It is also showing in theaters in Canada, Guam, Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East.

The Cathy Garcia-Sampana movie will open in cinemas in Hong Kong beginning Sunday (June 21), followed by Singapore and Malaysia on Thursday (June 25), and Taiwan on July 10 (Friday). It will also have screenings in Macau soon.

The film revolves around longtime couple Cisco (Donny) and Cheska (Belle), who were once partners in life and career and are now forced to confront how their respective ambitions have set them on competing paths. They take a ‘breakup trip’ to decide if they should finally let go of each other or fight for their love one last time.
