Vertical video releases featuring James as the good son, artist, and protector

Multimedia Prince James Reid’s highly anticipated primetime comeback is almost here as ABS-CBN released online vertical videos showcasing his scenes from the upcoming series “Someone, Someday.”

James makes his return to primetime where he portrays an exciting character named Jordan Valentin – a good son, artist, and protector.

In the newly released videos featuring scenes from the series, Jordan’s selfless personality is highlighted as he gives his utmost love and care for his ailing grandfather (Leo Rialp) following the unsolved case of his mother’s death.

Viewers also got a glimpse of Jordan’s relationship with his best friend Billy (Kathryn Bernardo) as he is always on the lookout for her, even as far as getting into a physical altercation with the character of McCoy De Leon in order to protect Billy.

Jordan’s charm is also highlighted as a dedicated artist who is passionate about music as seen in one of the scene drops where he performs an intimate song number.

With the upcoming premiere of “Someone, Someday,” James shared his excitement in accepting the project with co-stars Kathryn Bernardo and Maja Salvador.

“I just felt like now is the right time to come back. I haven’t played a character like this. I’m so excited for everyone to see how Kath and I, and also Maja bring these characters to life,” said the actor-singer at a mediacon on Tuesday (July 14).

Viewers can also look forward to James’ songs that are featured in the series such as “Pauwi Na” and “Sandal.”

“Someone, Someday” also stars Dimples Romana, Rowell Santiago, Rita Avila, McCoy De Leon, Daniela Stranner, and introducing Migz Casimiro. The series is directed by Chad V. Vidanes and Dolly Dulu.

Get to know James as Jordan in “Someone, Someday” beginning July 27 at 8:45 PM on ALLTV2, TV5, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube and Facebook. It will also stream first on Netflix on July 24 and on iWant on July 25, and it will also be available on TFC.
