Vertical videos featuring Maja as the number one fan, abused daughter, and enemy
The wait is almost over for Her Majasty Maja Salvador’s highly anticipated primetime comeback as ABS-CBN released vertical videos teasing scene drops of her character in the upcoming series “Someone, Someday” that also stars Kathryn Bernardo and James Reid.
Maja takes on a mysterious role as Abi Mercado, the number one fan of Billy (Kathryn), a caring yet abused daughter, and an enemy.
In the first vertical video featuring scenes from the series, Abi’s deep admiration and obsession for Billy is highlighted as she seems to secretly slip into her room, stalk her, and even tries on Billy’s personal belongings, revealing her desire to become more like the woman she idolizes.
Viewers also got a sneak peek of Abi as an obedient daughter who takes good care of her ailing mother (Rita Avila), yet endures constant abuse from her despite all her efforts.
The third scene drop shows Abi’s growing resentment towards Billy that leads to an intense confrontation as Abi lashes out at her idol-turned-enemy, only for Billy to call her a liar before the encounter ends with a punch.
Maja shared how happy she is to do another ABS-CBN teleserye where she gets to portray a layered character with Kathryn and James.
“Alam kong I’m home. There are many reasons why I accepted this project and isa na doon ang gusto kong makatrabaho sina Kathryn and James. Isa itong napakagandang role,” shared Maja during a mediacon held on Friday (July 17).
Meanwhile, “Someone, Someday” has dropped its official playlist featuring songs that are featured in the series. The 11 tracks are now available to stream on YouTube and Spotify – “Pauwi Na,” “Sandal,” “Traffic,” “Hurt Me Too,” and “Pahinga” (feat. TJ Monterde) by James Reid, “Abelyana” by Maki, “The Puzzle” by Belle Mariano, “Kulimlim” by Angela Ken, “Sugal” by Bryan Chong, “Tabla Tayo” by FANA, and “Mag-isa Lang Ako” by Shaniah Rollo.
“Someone, Someday” also stars Dimples Romana, Rowell Santiago, McCoy De Leon, Daniela Stranner, and introducing Migz Casimiro. The series is directed by Chad V. Vidanes and Dolly Dulu.
Watch Maja’s portrayal of Abi in “Someone, Someday” beginning July 27 at 8:45 PM on ALLTV2, TV5, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube and Facebook. It will also stream first on Netflix on July 24 and on iWant on July 25, and it will also be available on TFC.
