10 PH entries for Eurovision Song Contest Asia to drop on Aug. 17

“Pili, Pinas!” Philippine Selection Night happens this August 30

ABS-CBN is launching on Monday (August 17) the 10 songs that will vie to become the Philippines’ official entry to the Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026

The Philippine Selection Night, dubbed “Pili, Pinas,” is happening on August 30 (Sunday). 

The Eurovision Song Contest is a long-running annual international TV music competition organized by the European Broadcasting Union. Its inaugural competition in Asia is slated for November 14 in Bangkok, Thailand. ABS-CBN serves as the broadcast partner for the Philippine participation. 

Among the songs vying to becoming the country’s official entry are “Between Bituin” penned by Jungee Marcelo and performed by DNA; “Broken Beyond Repair” written by Angelo Gonzales and interpreted by SAGA; “Cheri(e)” composed by Nar Cabico, who also performed it with Elha Nympha, Esang de Torres, and Lance Reblando; and “Di ‘Yan (Red Flag)” with words and music by Jason Marvin Hernandez and performed by Jason Dy and Sassa Dagdag. 

Also part of the selection are “Good For You,” written by Hazel Faith and interpreted by Ryssi Avila; “Make It Exist,” composed by Angelo Calucin and performed by AJAA; and “Mapadama,” composed by Jungee Marcelo and Jeremy Glinoga, and sung by JM dela Cerna and Marielle Montellano. 

Completing the song entries from the Philippines are “Reason to Leave” written by Stephen Tan and interpreted by KHIMO; “Round N’ Round” composed by Julius James de Belen and John Michael Conchada and sung by Vvink and WRIVE Russu; and “Sobra-Sobra” penned by Nica del Rosario and Mat Olavides and performed by Carmelle.
