Team Kapamilya gets high marks from teachers at the 22nd Gawad Pasado

Teachers from all over the country have once again recognized ABS-CBN programs, movies, and personalities as among the best in the industry at the 22nd Gawad PASADO held on October 10.

Teachers from all over the country have once again recognized ABS-CBN programs, movies, and personalities as among the best in the industry at the 22nd Gawad PASADO held on October 10.

The Pampelikulang Samahan ng Dalubguro (PASADO) gave high marks to Star Cinema’s “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” which won PinakaPASADOng Pelikula, as well as to its lead stars Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards were named PinakaPASADOng Aktor and Aktres, respectively. Their co-star, Lovely Abella, was named PinakaPASADONG Katuwang na Aktres. The film’s cinematographer, Noel Teehankee, clinched the award for PinakaPASADOng Sinematograpiya, while musical scorer Jessie Lasaten won PinakaPASADOng Musika.  

The night’s highest honor was given to “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” star and veteran actor Jaime Fabregas, who was honored with the PASADO Lifetime Achievement Award. The award was given to him for his mastery of his craft and for being a role model to the Filipino people through his portrayal of characters such as Delfin Borja in the hit series. 

In the TV category, the family drama “Pamilya Ko” bagged major awards including PinakaPASADOng Teleserye, PinakaPASADong Aktres sa Teleserye for Sylvia Sanchez, and PinakaPASADOng Aktor sa Teleserye for JM de Guzman.  Child actor Enzo Pelojero of “Starla,” on the other hand, was hailed as the PinakaPASADOng Likhang Bata.  

PASADO is an organization of master teachers in private and public schools from elementary to college who review films as documents and materials for teaching different disciplines.
