Premiere episode features Kapamilya food sellers!
A new kind of shopping adventure begins in the Pinoy live streaming app Kumu through Jeepney TV’s “Kumu-nity Bazaar,” a live shopping experience which provides consumers the opportunity to shop from merchants pitching and selling their products real time online.
Taking off this October 6 (Tuesday), the exciting program paves way for potential customers to interact virtually and buy a variety of goods straight from hardworking online sellers who will be showcasing their offers via live stream.
It is also a great avenue to support local and small businesses, most of which were founded as a result of lost livelihood sources because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
For its launching episode, “Kumu-nity Bazaar” will feature Kapamilya food sellers or retrenched ABS-CBN workers who have ventured into making delectable homemade food products to provide for their families after they lost their jobs as a consequence of the Congress’ denial of the network’s franchise renewal.
In a span of two hours, these merchants will present their mouth-watering fares—from food trays, ready-to-cook meals, to baked goods—to streamers who are also potential customers.
In the succeeding weeks, the online bazaar will spotlight sellers of work-from-home essentials, quality Filipino beauty must-haves, and health and wellness products.
The “Kumu-nity Bazaar” is another addition to the many digital offerings of ABS-CBN’s FYE Channel on Kumu, which provides entertainment, tutorials, insightful talks, games, and more to viewers through live streaming.
Shop for a cause in Jeepney TV’s “Kumu-nity Bazaar” every Tuesday of October starting tomorrow (October 6) at 8pm, and on October 13, 20, and 27 at 8:30pm at the FYE Channel on Kumu! Download the Kumu app and follow the FYE Channel (fyechannel) to watch other FYE Channel programs via live stream.
